Episode 3 airs

In the program, a couple named Søren and Mette are telling direct lies about Franck’s ex-girlfriend and are seen confirming the false narrative that Torben was taking medicine from her.

Torben later called Søren, and confronted him with these lies. He excused himself and said that their friend André Højer asked them to appear in the program.

Franck also appears in the episode. He gives a distorted picture of his ex-girlfriend, a victim of him, and his wrong behavior toward her.

The effects of these evil episodes are enormous. It caused a public outrage and made it impossible for Torben to continue his ministry in Denmark.

Franck appears anonymously in the last epsiode, “for his protection”. In this clip from Episode 3 of God’s Best Children, we see him meeting with producer Bjarke Stender.

The voice-over in the clip says:

“We are contacted by a man who tells us that his mentally ill friend is trapped in The Last Reformation and is allegedly being manipulated to stop her treatment. He is afraid that she will try to commit suicide, as she has tried before.

He wishes to remain anonymous to protect himself and his friend.”

This is in strong contrast with the testimony of a witness who says Franck boasted about his ties to the Russian mafia.

Torben shared with the Bjarke who led the production that the story with Franck and his 'friend' was very different, but they did not bother to interview the friend to verify the story.
